The McHenry Country Club Golf Shop is a vital part of the McHenry experience. The Golf Shop is managed by Head professional Scott Beaugureau. Scott and his staff have been essential in the creation of an exciting tournament program for all of our McHenry players- tournaments for Men, Women, Couples and Juniors at all skill levels. Events such as Men's and Ladies Guest Days, Members Opening Day, Match Play Events, The McHenry Women's Invitational (MWI), The Labor Day Event, Men's and Ladies Club Championships, and the Junior Club Championship are examples of the many fine tournaments McHenry has to offer.

The Golf Shop is stocked with the latest in golf-related items at competitive prices. Scott provides a golf club fitting system by Titleist, with demonstration programs that include the latest golf equipment for members to test at their leisure. Equipment brands include Titleist, Callaway, Nike, Taylor Made, Cobra, and Cleveland. Add style and class to your golf apparel with selections from Tehama, Tail, Sport Haley, and Ashworth. Footwear includes shoes by Footjoy and Nike, and numerous other accessories are available to complete your golfing outfit in style.

Scott and his staff have excellent instructional backgrounds which meet the needs of players at all skill and experience levels. Clear and concise teaching techniques are employed in 30 minute, one-on-one lessons; video instruction with the V1 Coaching System is also a resource used to solve the more complex problems in a player's golf swing. Whether it be the typical long game or short game lesson or the more strategic playing lesson, Scott and his staff provide the professional assistance necessary for motivated players to improve their games, and ultimately enjoy to the maximum, golf membership at McHenry Country Club.
